Dua Lipa (born 22 August 1995), is an English born, Albanian-Kosovar singer-songwriter. Born and raised in London, Lipa spent part of her adolescence, between the ages of 13-15 in Pristina, Kosovo.
Lipa is most known for her 2017 single "New Rules" which became a worldwide hit from her eponymous debut studio album (2017), the song became certified diamond in France and Poland, as well as 7x platinum in Australia. The acclaimed hit was nominated for British Single of the Year at the 2018 BRIT Awards and appeared on year-end lists from publications including Billboard, The Guardian and The New York Times.
Her second studio album, "Future Nostalgia" had widespread cultural impact, going on to win the 2021 Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, as well as the 2021 BRIT Award for British Album of The Year.
