"Plan B" is a song performed by American rapper and artist Megan Thee Stallion. The song serves as the sixteenth track and second single of her sophomore album, Traumazine. The song was released on April 22, 2022 through 1501 Certified and 300 Entertainment. The song was previewed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, then was released a week later (April 22, 2022). The song was rumored to be titled "Letter to My Ex", but Megan clarified it was not in a Tweet. The music video was styled by Mugler and was directed by Mugler creative director Casey Cadwallader.[1]

In April 2022, a week before Megan was set to play a set at Coachella, the artist made this quote on a X post: "I got this song that I recorded and every time I play it for a woman they start jumping and clapping I think I wanna perform it at Coachella for the first time before I actually drop it."[2] and then shared a video of her rapping the then-unreleased song on X as well. The track was then performed at Coachella.[3] Megan then confirmed the track would be releasing the week after Coachella.[4]
Many believed the song was directed toward Canadian rapper Tory Lanez, who shot Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. However, Megan confirmed on Twitter that the song referred to her past relationships instead of a single person in particular.
